Overview
Jeff Knebel practices primarily in the areas of probate and fiduciary litigation involving executors, trustees, attorneys, and other fiduciaries, will contests, guardianships, and estate planning and probate issues, representing both fiduciaries and beneficiaries. He also handles contentious trust cases that involve advising settlors, trustees, protectors, and asset holders in high value disputes relating to the validity and management of domestic and international trusts and foreign asset protection structures. He frequently represents charitable organizations in a wide variety of controversies and planning opportunities, and thoroughly enjoys being generously involved in philanthropic endeavors that benefit the community as a whole and that advance God’s kingdom.
Jeff focuses on aggressively representing both fiduciary clients and beneficiaries in litigated matters throughout the state of Texas. Jeff considers that each client’s situation, including their families or legal problems, are unique, and devotes his personal experience and attention to each client’s dilemma. He brings over twenty-three years of specialized expertise in these types of litigation.
He also has significant jury and bench trial experience in real estate-related litigation and commercial litigation, including representing individuals and large and small businesses in contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty cases, fraud and misrepresentation claims, defamation cases, and insurance coverage disputes.
His mission is to make sure that his clients know they are protected, strongly and effectively represented, and served through sacrificial leadership. He has successfully represented clients in extremely complicated matters involving multi-million dollar lawsuits, by bringing a firm yet well thought out approach to solve his client's problems at a very difficult time in their lives.
